About Library

Welcome to The Central Library of Vivekananda College for Women, Kolkata. Our Library has a total collections of 31,000+ documents covering major disciplines of Science, Humanities, Commerce and subscribing 10 periodicals in print. Our College is the Institutional member of British Council Library, Kolkata and The American Library, Kolkata, the interested faculties may contact Librarian for details. The Central Library is fully air-conditioned with separate study room for students and teachers. The Central Library is going to computerize its all activities including bar-coded ID Cards and installed computer terminals to access On-line Public Access Catalogue (OPAC) to know the status of any documents.

8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
Saturday
8:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M.
The Central Library remain closed on Sunday and other College holidays
