Library Facilities:

 

Lending

       The library provides lending of books and allied reading material to students and staff members. Each member can borrow books on loan as follows :-

• Honours Students: 1Book from CL for 7 days and 1 Book from DL for 15 days

• General Students: 1 Book from CL for 7 days

• Full-time Teachers: 15 Books from CL

• Part-time Teachers: 5 Books from CL

• Non-teaching Staff: 2 Books from CL

 

Reading Room

      The central library has one reading room with adequate lighting and air-conditioning machine. Twenty students can sit in the reading room at a time for their study purpose. Seperate reading room facility is available for the staff members of the college. Any user of library may use these reading room for consulting books, journals reports etc. during library hours.

Reference
       Librarian(s) are happy to assist members in getting their required information.

Book Reservation
       Books in great demand and which generally remain under issue can be got reserved by users by filling in Reservation Slips.

New Arrival Display
       Every fortnight selected books newly added to the library are displayed on the New Arrivals Display Rack before they are released for loan. In addition to this, a list of newly arrived books is prepaired and displayed prominently on the bulletin board near the entrance. The purpose is to bring the newly added books to the notice of users.

Reprography
       The library issued document(s) to the students and staff members for procuring photocopies of the articles/text from the College Xerox Centreents @ Re.1.00 per impression.

Career Guidence
       The library has good collection of career guidence books with it provides career guidence service to the students.

Internet Facility
       The staff members can use library's computer for internet searching and browsing but this facility is not avaiable for Students.
